Week 3
This week started with my eye-opening weekly call with my district manager. He made it clear that I was behind pace from my goals and if I wanted to do this I was going to have to get the momentum I had over reading week back. I had no estimates scheduled, leads coming in at a pedestrian rate and the estimates I had done were not calling to tell me they’d like to book production dates. It was time to take a proactive approach. The next day I started calling local motels with just one lead. Since I am still attending school in Burnaby, I needed a way to continue to market in my territory in Alberta, so I set up a Facebook page to increase my online presence and I hired four more marketers. Week three was slow in terms of business but instrumental in setting us up for the upcoming season.
Week 4
Week three proved to be the calm before the storm in terms of marketing. Bringing on the extra marketers, introducing extra incentives for the marketers plus the new traffic from Facebook, resulted in us more than doubling our leads in the matter of a couple of days. From these leads I was able to book some estimates for later in the week and into the next two weeks. I feel like I am on the right track to hit my goals again. I am excited to see where these next few weeks take this business.
